11:00pm – Usman Khan wants a five-wicket haul against India
Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Usman Khan starred with the ball as he picked up three wickets for 19 runs on a slow Dubai surface against Hong Kong in his team’s Asia Cup opener on Sunday.
With Pakistan slated to play arch-rivals India next, Usman Khan wants nothing less than a five-wicket haul in the blockbuster clash.

10:00 – Afghanistan in confident mood ahead of Sri Lanka clash
Afghanistan are all set to get their Asia Cup campaign underway on Monday as they take on Sri Lanka in a Group B clash at the Sheikh Zayed stadium in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking ahead of their campaign opener, skipper Asghar Afghan has warned that his men are not in the UAE to simply make up the numbers.

9:30pm – Sreesanth not convince by India’s pace battery
India’s pace attack might have been lauded by all quarters after their showing in the Test series against England but S Sreesanth believes that the performance has been greatly overhyped.
The former India pacer feels that the pace trio of Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami could have done much better.

9:00pm – Pakistan thrash Hong Kong by eight wickets
Pakistan got their Asia Cup campaign off to the perfect start with an eight-wicket win over minnows Hong Kong at the Dubai International Stadium. Chasing a paltry 117 to win, the men in green did not face too much trouble as they notched up the target inside 24 overs.

7:30pm – Mohammad Amir yet to hit peak since international return
It was another wicketless outing for Pakistan pace spearhead Mohammad Amir in his side’s Asia Cup clash against Hong Kong. This means that the pacer has now gone three ODIs consecutively without picking up a single wicket.

7:00pm – Sri Lanka in must win clash against Afghanistan
After two matches in Dubai, the Asia Cup moves to the UAE capital when five-time champions Sri Lanka take on Afghanistan at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
For Sri Lanka, it is a must win clash if they want to keep their hopes of progressing to the Super Four alive.

6:30pm – Chief selector warns India’s underperforming stars
India’s chief selector MSK Prasad has issued a warning to underperforming players in the wake of the team’s 1-4 Test series defeat at the hands of England.
In an interview with the Times of India, Prasad warned underperforming stars that their place could be given to younger players if they did not make the most of the opportunities to them.

6:15pm – Pakistan bowl out Hong Kong for just 116 runs
Hong Kong’s innings against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket stadium has drawn to a close and it is one the minnows would like to quickly forget. Anshy Rath and his men have been bowled out for just 116 runs inside 38 overs after electing to bat first. Usman Khan was the pick of Pakistan’s bowlers with figures of 3-19 although the pacer had to leave the field midway through his eighth over.

3pm – Hong Kong bat, Pakistan pick Usman Khan over Junaid Khan
Hong Kong have won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan in Sunday’s Asia Cup clash.
For Pakistan, Usman Khan has been picked ahead of Junaid Khan, with that final fast-bowling slot the only selection doubt ahead of the game.

The fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League will see a total of eight matches played in Pakistan with the rest of them taking place in the UAE.
