    Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah had come under fire for his display in the opening Test against Australia at Dubai as Tim Paine’s men snatched a memorable draw.

    Former Pakistan skippers Wasim Akram and Misbah-ul-Haq are considered as possible options for the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) cricket committee.

    8:30pm – Afghanistan’s Hazratullah Zazai strikes six sixes in an over

    Afghanistan batsman Hazratullah Zazai entered an exclusive club on Sunday when he smashed six sixes in an over during an Afghanistan Premier League (APL) clash at Sharjah.

    Batting for Kabul Zwanan, Zazai struck the six sixes in the fourth over bowled by Balkh Legends debutant Abdullah Mazari.

    Prithvi Shaw and Umesh Yadav have been singled out for some fine praise from India skipper Virat Kohli following the team’s 2-0 Test series clean sweep over the West Indies.

    6:00pm – Brian Lara and Sir Viv Richards to mentor at UAE T20x

    Former West Indian batsmen Sir Viv Richards and Brian Lara will serve as mentors for the UAE T20x – the country’s first ever international cricket league.

    These two notable names join a stellar list which includes Courtney Walsh, Ricardo Powell, Phil Simmons and Vasbert Drakes, who have all signed up as coaches.

    5:00pm – Azhar Ali admits Pakistan are under pressure 

    Azhar Ali says all the pressure will be on Pakistan as they aim to win the Test series against Australia.

    The Men in Green go into the second Test on the back of a disappointing draw in Dubai after the Australians batted the entire day to deny the hosts in a match that they dominated.

    4pm – India wrap up series win

    India’s openers cruised to their 72-run target, winning the second Test by 10 wickets to wrap up a 2-0 series victory. 18-year-old Prithvi Shaw fittingly hit the winning runs and was named man of the series for his 237 runs across the two matches, including a debut century in the first Test.

    India bowled West Indies out for 127, leaving themselves 72 to win the second Test and wrap up a 2-0 series win. Umesh Yadav picked up 4/45, leaving him with match figures of 10/133 – his first-ever 10-wicket haul.

    India surged ahead in the second session on Day 3 of the second Test, taking six West Indies wickets to leave the visitors reeling at 76/6, a lead of only 20. Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers again, taking 3/32, with the Indian spinners picking up a wicket each.

    A superb bowling effort from West Indies captain Jason Holder, who finished with 5/56, saw India bowled out for 367 after starting the day at 308/4. Both Ajinkya Rahane and Rishabh Pant, the overnight batsmen, fell short of centuries.
