    8:30 pm – Bancroft set for comeback

    Australian batsman Cameron Bancroft is due to return to professional cricket after serving a nine-month ban for his part in a ball-tampering scandal.

    The 26-year-old’s ban from international and domestic cricket expires on December 29 and he is available to line up for the Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League.

    7:30 pm – Daredevils now Delhi Capitals

    Indian Premier League outfit Delhi Daredevils has been renamed to Delhi Capitals as part of a fresh start by the franchise’s new owners.

    The Delhi side held on to the old red and blue hues but had added three tigers to a new logo unveiled in New Delhi.

    5:30 pm – Pakistan on top in Abu Dhabi Test against New Zealand

    Day three in the ongoing final Test between Pakistan and New Zealand has drawn to a close at Abu Dhabi. It is Pakistan who have asserted their dominance in the clash after taking a 74-run lead in the first innings.

    Centuries from Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq helped Pakistan post 348 runs in their first innings before New Zealand’s openers fell cheaply towards the close of play in their second innings. The Kiwis had been reduced to 26-2 before stumps were drawn on day three.
