Kerala Overseas Cricketers prepare for eighth edition of Friendship Cup

  • Kerala Overseas Cricketers (KOC) team will fly out on December 1 (Thursday) for the eighth edition of the Friendship Cup.

    The former state cricketers from Kerala will travel this time to Coimbatore to take part in the Friendship Cup tournament which is scheduled to be held on December 3, 2022. KOC will take on Kerala Veterans Cricketers (KVC) which is also, made up of state level cricketers.

    The Kerala Overseas Cricketers (KOC) are a group of former state cricketers from the Indian state of Kerala who are currently based all over the globe, mainly in the GCC and Far East countries.

    The concept of KOC became a reality in 2013 with the objective of bringing all former state cricketers under one umbrella. The Friendship Cup is supported by Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) and the tour is sponsored by Consolidated Shipping Group and Blue Ocean Corporation.

    The players who representing the KOC team include Shajil Balan (captain), Rejee Mohan, Fida Asghar, Hareesh M Haridas, Prajeet. P, Shibith. P, Sasikanth.S, Balaji Narayanan, Riyaz Ali, Shibu Nair, Santhosh Subramaniam,  Noufal PP.
