On Tuesday, Zimbabwe Cricket announced that it was going to host the Indian cricket team for a short limited overs tour in June. The tour will comprise of three ODIs and three T20s to be played over a period of 12 days in June, starting with the first ODI on June 11.
According to the ICC Future Tours Program, this series was originally supposed to comprise of a single Test and three one-dayers, however, the Test was later replaced by three T20s.
India toured Zimbabwe last year with a second string side led by Ajinkya Rahane – while the visitors won the ODI series 3-0, the T20 series was drawn between the two sides at 1-1.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India released the tour itinerary in a tweet this morning:
