Birthday wishes poured in for Virender Sehwag on his 38th birthday today. Cricketers and fans alike took to Twitter to convey their best wishes to the former Indian star.
The Delhi opener is considered one of India’s greatest ever batsmen, having played 104 Tests, scoring 8586 runs at an average of 49.34.
Sehwag also starred in 251 ODI matches for the Men in Blue, scoring 8273 runs at an average of 35.05 and a strike rate of over 100.
He was also part of the World Cup-winning team in 2011, having previously won the World T20 in 2007.
