  • Virat Kohli celebrated India's series win in the cutest of ways.

Virat Kohli’s India have been on a roll recently and the good times continue to prosper for the Men in Blue.

After clean-sweeping the Test series against Sri Lanka 3-0, the visitors asserted their supremacy in the ODIs as well when they took an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five-match series, courtesy of their six-wicket victory in Pallekele on Sunday.

Skipper Kohli broke out his dance moves on the floor to celebrate Sunday’s victory where he was joined by a special guest.

Pacer Mohammed Shami’s daughter, Aairah, won the hearts of thousands on social media when she matched the Indian batting maestro step for step to the beats of Lou Bega’s ‘I got a girl’.

Shami, a part of the Test-series winning side, posted the cute video of the two dancing on Twitter. There were reasons aplenty to celebrate for the visiting skipper after India won eight consecutive bilateral ODI series against the islanders.

This is only the second highest run of consecutive series wins in international cricket, with Pakistan currently holding the record with nine wins on the trot against the West Indies.

This was also Kohli’s fourth successive limited-overs series win as India captain with the previous three coming against the West Indies, England and New Zealand.

After the two matches in Pallekele, the series now moves to Colombo for the fourth and fifth ODI to be played on August 31 and September 3 respectively.

Post these games, both the sides will square-off in a lone T20 clash in Colombo itself on September 6 to culminate India’s tour of the islanders.

Come the end of the series, Kohli will be looking for more reasons to celebrate like he did, with little Aahira.
