  • India lost their No1 ODI spot to England after the ICC released fresh rankings following their annual update.

India were the top-ranked team in Tests and ODIs while Pakistan were No1 in T20s. However, the 2014-15 season was dropped from the latest calculations which saw England rise to the No1 spot in ODIs with 125 points while India lost one point to be placed second with 122.

In all, England gained eight ranking points as they had a poor 2014-15 season where they won only seven out of 25 ODIs against full-members countries.

In the last three years, England have won 41 out of 63 ODIs while India have won 39 out of 59.

In T20s, Pakistan continue to be top-ranked in T20s with 130 points – four more than second placed Australia.

Earlier, India had stretched their lead at the top of the Test ranking after gaining four points. South Africa, second in the table, lost five points.
