Pakistan legend Shahid Afridi said he will support Germany at the World Cup which begins in Russia on Thursday.
When asked which team he will be supporting during the biggest tournament in the world, Afridi told Pakistan media: “The team that has always been my favourite, and last time as well, is Germany. This time as well it’s Germany.”

Meanwhile, India’s U19 World Cup winning captain Prithvi Shaw said he draws inspiration from the dedication and fitness of his all-time favourite footballer – Cristiano Ronaldo.
“He is a great player; I like his game and his fitness. I keep watching videos of his workouts. They are quote inspiring,” Shaw was quoted as saying by the Economic Times.
