Pakistan‘s senior team struggled in Asia Cup in the UAE, failing to make it to the final while losing to India twice and that too convincingly.

The performances of star names like opening batsman Fakhar Zaman, captain Sarfraz Ahmed and pace spearheads Mohammad Amir and Hasan Ali left a lot to be desired. However, there is some good news for Pakistan cricket fans from the U19 group competing at the Asia Cup in Bangladesh.

Pakistan’s U19 team made a winning start to their campaign, dismissing Hong Kong for just 77 and winning by nine wickets with more than 35 overs to spare.

The star of the show for Pakistan was 15-year-old fast bowler Naseem Shah who took 5-13 from seven overs.

The right arm pacer has been making waves this season with his strong action and extreme pace, making batsmen duck and weave.

His action is already being compared to that of Pakistan pace legends Aaqib Javed and Imran Khan, which will only add to his already growing fame.
