Pakistan batsman Babar Azam raced into the record books by becoming the fastest man to 1,000 T20 runs during Sunday night’s clash with New Zealand.
With the three-match series already wrapped up, Azam smashed 79 off 58 balls to overtake India superstar Virat Kohli’s previous mark.
Pakistan were 166/3 after their innings, with the Black Caps requiring a strong performance in Dubai to gain some credit from a one-sided series.
