  • Shahid Afridi.

Pakistan bowlers had a field day in the Bangladesh Premier league with two veterans sharing six wickets between them.

Playing for Comilla Victorians against Khulna Titans, Shahid Afridi and Wahab Riaz were on song as they dismissed the Titans for 157 for an 80-run triumph.

Batting first, the Victorians made 237-5 thanks to a stupendous unbeaten century from West Indies opener Evin Lewis.

That target was always going to be a challenging one and Afridi and Wahab ensured it.

Former captain Afridi got the ball rolling by taking the key top-order wickets of Brendan Taylor, Dawid Malan and captain Mahmudullah.

The game was done as dusted as the asking rate kept climbing and the Titans kept losing wickets. The penultimate over saw veteran quick Riaz finish things off in double quick time.

The left-arm quick took out David Wiese, Taijul Islam and Mohammad Saddam off successive deliveries to complete his hat-trick.

It was the second three-wicket haul for Riaz in the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League.
