Virat Kohli starred with an unbeaten 154 as India chased down 286 to take a 2-1 lead in the ODI series against New Zealand. The Delhi batsman scored his 26th century in the format which puts him fourth on the all-time list.
Kohli was ably supported by captain MS Dhoni who decided to promote himself to number four. Dhoni scored 80 as the duo put on a 151-run partnership for the third wicket.
Earlier in the day, New Zealand were bowled out for 285, reaching the total thanks mainly to a fabulous 84-run ninth wicket partnership between Jimmy Neesham and Matt Henry.
Neesham and Tom Latham registered half-centuries for the Blackcaps.

Whatever be the result, Neesham and Henry should be men of the match. For facilitating this Kohli - MSD double delight masterclass. #INDvNZ

Recovering his true dominant self.. This knock is the strongest argument why Dhoni should bat at no.4 in ODIs. And by Dhoni himself. #IndvNZ
