Resuming their innings on 317/4, India will be looking to bat England out of the match by putting up a big total on the board. The hosts added more muscle to their batting line-up by playing all-rounder Jayant Yadav ahead of Amit Mishra and that should help them.
Virat Kohli, who is unbeaten on 151 overnight, will be looking to score his third double century of the year – having notched up one against West Indies and New Zealand each already.
With the pitch expected to crumble and assist the spinners in a huge way, England will be optimistic that they can get India bowled out soon and get to bat when the conditions are still favourable.
