England are in dire straits, having ended day two of the second Test against India on 103/5, trailing the hosts’ first innings total by 352 runs.
On a pitch that will get harder to bat on as the match progresses, it was always going to be a difficult task for England once India notched up 455 in their first innings.
Although the Indian bowlers put on an impressive performance, England will be disappointed by some of their running and shot selection. Only Joe Root, who scored 53, managed to offer some resistance.
Here, we look at the top tweets from the day’s play.
I tell you what England will have to suck a lot of mints to get out of the this hole .. #INDvENG #🎣🎣

India are on top. And the track isn't doing as much as a few others have. Long road ahead for England, India must be patient.

Two half-sleeved offies bowling and not a bent elbow in sight. Are we back in the 1970s? #INDvENG #VizagTest

How much ever cricket you watch, a fast bowler breaking the stumps is surreal and really pumping. #INDvENG

Kept taking Sanga wicket in SL series
Kept taking Kane wicket in NZ series
Now took Root wicket!
Ashwin: "Do you get my drift?"

England: "No."
Ashwin should be made batting coach of Rohit Sharma.

Maiden wicket...
in ODIs: 12th ball
in Tests: 8th ball#IndvEng
One person who will never oppose DRS in his life is Jayant Yadav. First Test wicket on a review. A good review too. #INDvENG
