Day four of the second Test between India and England at Visakhapatnam is pivotal as the hosts attempt to push for a win, while England try to make a come back and get an unlikely result out of the game.
Leading by 298 runs with seven second innings wickets in hand, the Indians will be looking to add some quick runs before setting England an improbable target. In the entire history of Test cricket, only once before has a target of 300+ been successfully chased down in the fourth innings in India.

India go into day four as huge favourites to win the Vizag Test after a good all-round performance on the first three days.
Although England have fought back bravely first with a century stand between Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow, and later reducing India to 40/3 in their second innings on day three, the hosts seem to be holding all the aces at the moment.
The Indian batsmen will be looking to add some quick runs to their total, before giving themselves enough time to bowl England out in the fourth innings.

Despite some moments where it looked like England could bring themselves back into the game, India seem to be in complete command of the second Test of the five-match series at Visakhapatnam.
The stars of the day for India were definitely off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and captain Virat Kohli. Ashwin registered figures of 5/67 with the ball while Kohli will resume batting on 56 on day four.
In the morning session, England had useful contributions from Ben Stokes and Jonny Bairstow with the bat – both scoring half-centuries. The visitors ended up being bowled out for 255 all out, conceding a 200-run lead.
On a crumbling pitch, it looks like England will need a miracle to get a result in this Test.
