Indian left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav’s impressive performance with the ball on debut saw Australia bowled out for 300 on day one of the fourth Test at Dharamsala.
The 22-year-old outshone Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin, who are currently the top two ranked Test bowlers in the world, as he picked up four wickets for 68 runs.
On the other hand, Australia skipper Steve Smith continued his marvellous form with the bat – notching up his 20th Test century for the visitors.
On Twitter, India legend Sachin Tendulkar was impressed by Kuldeep’s variations and encouraged the youngster to keep going strong. Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, referred to Kuldeep as the “new mystery guy in the house”.
There was a lot of praise for Smith as well for his knock of 111.
