As Cricket Australia continue their blood-letting off the pitch, there’s also been very little solace on it of late.
on Friday Aaron Finch’s men hosted South Africa in the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval after being blown away by Dale Steyn and Co in the opener, and the Proteas had hoped to wrap the three-game series up.
And despite only setting a target of 232, impressive captaincy from Aaron Finch and tight bowling from the seamers saw Australia capture a nail-biting and morale-boosting victory by just seven runs.
