    8pm – Third former Sri Lanka player facing corruption charges

    The ICC’s anti-corruption unit has charged former Sri Lankan all-rounder Dilhara Lokuhettige in relation to his role during last December’s T10 Cricket League in the UAE. Lokuhettige becomes the third ex-Sri Lanka international to be charged with corruption, after Sanath Jayasuriya and Nuwan Zoysa.

    6pm – England, Sri Lanka unconcerned about Akila Dananjaya

    Both England captain Joe Root and Sri Lanka captain Suranga Lakmal are unconcerned about Akila Dananjaya playing in the second Test despite an impending Test over his bowling action.

    1pm – Akila Dananjaya will continue bowling against England despite being reported

    Sri Lanka’s turbulent year took another bump after Akila Dananjaya was reported for a suspect bowling action during the first Test defeat to England.

    Skipper Suranga Lakmal, however, has no doubt he will bounce back. Read his thoughts here.

    11am – Ben Foakes to keep gloves regardless of Jonny Bairstow’s fitness

    It’s unlikely a decision that will get a thumbs up from Bairstow, but Foakes’ performance both with the bat and behind the stumps means he’ll continue keeping for England in the second Test at Kandy.
