Tearaway fast bowler Oshane Thomas was added as the 14th member of the West Indies squad for the second Test against England which begins on Thursday in Antigua.

Right arm pacer Thomas has made a big impression in the four ODIs and six T20s he has played so far, clocking speeds in excess of 150kph. He was picked as a cover for pacer Alzarri Joseph in the first Test and has now been made a member of the squad.

The hosts retained the rest of the squad after crushing England by 381 runs in the first Test in Barbados.

“Oshane Thomas was with us in Barbados as cover and he has been added to the squad as the 14th player and will remain with the team as an additional fast bowler. We were all extremely happy with the great result in the first Test. We want to see them put in another solid performance in the second match in Antigua, where we won last year,” Courtney Browne, the chairman of selectors said.

Squad: Jason Holder (c), Kraigg Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Shamarh Brooks, John Campbell, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich (WK), Shannon Gabriel, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Alzarri Joseph, Kemar Roach, Oshane Thomas, Jomel Warrican
