Australia have been dealt a big blow in their ongoing ODI series against Pakistan with pacer Jhye Richardson dislocating his right shoulder.
The Australian fast bowler sustained the injury while fielding during the second ODI against Pakistan at Sharjah on Sunday and will now play no further part in the match.
Richardson hurt his shoulder while attempting to field the ball in the deep during the 11th over of Pakistan’s innings and immediately signalled towards the dressing room in distress.
The 22-year-old was assisted off the field by the Aussie medical staff and was later seen sitting on the sidelines with his right arm under a brace.

The pacer now looks set to miss out on the remainder of the five-match series against Pakistan and the injury has come at the worst possible time for him with the World Cup just two months away.
Richardson had made a bright start with the new ball at Sharjah on Sunday with the right-armed pacer removing openers Imam-ul-Haq and Shan Masood early into his spell.
The youngster has been in good form for Australia over the past few months with some impressive displays against India recently and the team management will be hoping he can recover in time for the World Cup in England.
