Hosts England thrashed Ireland by 143 runs in the sole four-day Test between the two sides at Lord’s with the visitors being bowled out for just 38 runs in their second innings.
Joe Root’s men had set the Irish a target of 182 for their maiden Test victory after last man Olly Stone was dismissed on the very first ball of day three.
However, a six-wicket haul from Chris Woakes saw Ireland collapse dramatically at Lord’s to fall to a huge defeat.
Welcome to the Lord's Honours Boards again, @chriswoakes!
