  • The Nepal leg-spinner impressed on his IIPL debut against RCB.

Delhi Daredevils will be playing for pride in the IPL when they take on Chennai Super Kings at the Feroz Shah Kotla stadium on Friday.

Having already been knocked out of contention for a playoff spot, bottom-placed Daredevils will look to finish their season on a high with two back-to-back matches in front of their home fans.

Shreyas Iyer is likely to mix it up when it comes to the playing XI on Friday.

Several fringe players could come into play against Chennai, with Sandeep Lamichhane certain to be given another chance.

The Nepal leg-spinner was given his IPL debut in Delhi’s defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore last time around.

The 17-year-old was the only Delhi bowler to walk off the park with his head held high, conceding only 25 runs in his four overs and picked up the wicket of Parthiv Patel.

His debut performance was highly promising and he should be a good pick for the Fantasy Team.

Another under-rated option for the Fantasy Team could be Delhi’s Abhishek Yadav.

The fellow 17-year-old produced a solid display on his IPL debut against Bangalore.

The India U19 World Cup winning batsman smashed an unbeaten 19-ball 46 which included four sixes and three boundaries and looks certain to retain his spot alongside Sandeep.

For Chennai Super Kings, pacer Deepak Chahar has continued to impress with the new ball and should be a solid pick.
