The 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) season heads into day five with Delhi Capitals hosting Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday.
As fans, it’s not just watching the action that’s there to look forward to but IPL fantasy games mean you have the opportunity to get involved as well.
As the IPL’s official partner, Dream11 runs a Daily Contest for each game apart from the default format which is conducted per round.
Here, we focus on helping you navigate your way through the former.
Without further adieu, here are our top options in each category for this encounter.
BATSMAN
Shane Watson – CSK (10 credits)
How is he our top pick after falling for a 10-ball duck in the opener? Well, his record speaks for itself and the Australian was caught off guard by a spin-friendly wicket in what was a low-scoring encounter. He enjoys the ball coming onto the bat early on and Delhi will likely afford him a pace attack of Kagiso Rabada and Trent Boult first up.
BOWLER
Kagiso Rabada – DC (9)
Ended Yuvraj Singh’s resolve and then dismissed Ben Cutting as well with his economy of 5.75 being just as impressive as his wickets. Ended with figures of 2-23 and his bowling may even have deserved better.
ALL-ROUNDER
Ravindra Jadeja – CSK (8.5)
Got off to a good start in the season with 37 points to his name. Got CSK over the line with an unbeaten six but was most impressive with the ball. He helped clean up RCB with figures of 2-15 in his four overs, including a maiden.
WICKETKEEPER
Rishabh Pant – DC (9.5)
We backed him for his first match and after his extraordinary knock of 78 from just 27 balls, we see no reason not to do so again. Coming into the tournament with a fight for a World Cup spot on his hands, that match-winning display would’ve been a great boost for his confidence. Pant is the highest-scoring player in the game so far with 65.5 points. Bagged six points with the gloves as well.
Rishabh Pant's blistering 27-ball 78 had team-mates, opponents and experts go 😃😲👏 https://t.co/RGkIYudH6p #IPL2019 pic.twitter.com/j528y6Pc6h
