  • David Warner is the leading run-scorer in IPL 2019.

The 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) season heads into its 11th match on Sunday with Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore.

As fans, it’s not just watching the action that’s there to look forward to, but IPL fantasy games mean you have the opportunity to get involved as well.

As the IPL’s official partner, Dream11 runs a daily contest for each game apart from the default format which is conducted per round.

Here, we focus on helping you navigate your way through the former.

Without further adieu, here are our top options in each category for this encounter.

    BATSMAN

David Warner – Sunrisers Hyderabad (10.5 credits)

The Hyderabad clash sees two of the most formidable top-orders in the IPL go head-to-head with the likes of David Warner, Kane Williamson, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers among those on show.

While it is a tough call to leave out any of these batsmen, it is Warner who gets the nod for the two explosive half-centuries he has struck so far.

With scores of 85 and 69 which have come at an average strike-rate of over 170, the left-hander seems like a man possessed as he looks to cement his place in the Australia ODI World Cup squad.

The pitch at Hyderabad has looked an excellent one for batting so far and expect Warner to come out all guns blazing once again on Sunday.

    BOWLER

Yuzvendra Chahal – Royal Challengers Bangalore (9 credits)

While No1 ranked T20 bowler Rashid Khan would seem like an obvious pick, it is hard to ignore Yuzvendra Chahal given the form he has shown in his two appearances for Bangalore.

He might have been tonked for three consecutive sixes by Yuvraj Singh in Bangalore’s loss to Mumbai Indians but Chahal more than performed his duties by picking up four wickets.

It was the IPL through which the leg-spinner burst onto the big stage and the excellent rhythm he is bowling with currently promises a big wicket-taking campaign ahead.

    ALL-ROUNDER

Vijay Shankar – Sunrisers Hyderabad (8.5)

This is a tough one to call given the lack of options across both sides. While Sunrisers have the formidable Shakib Al Hasan and Mohammad Nabi in their ranks, both of them have barely featured so far.

Meanwhile, Bangalore are still without Marcus Stoinis who remains away on international duty.

To be on the safer side, Hyderabad’s Vijay Shankar seems the best bet despite his lack of overs with the ball in hand. With the bat, Shankar has been terrific at No4 so far and has been racking up his runs at a staggering strike-rate of over 192.

His batting points alone can compensate for his lack of bowling points and for that, Shankar is our all-round pick for the game.

    WICKETKEEPER

Jonny Bairstow – Sunrisers Hyderabad (8.5)

With the form he displayed in Sunrisers’ win over Rajasthan Royals, Jonny Bairstow gets the nod for the wicketkeeping role on Sunday.

The England opener looked in excellent touch against Rajasthan where he struck 45 off just 28 deliveries and he is starting to now find his feet in what is his maiden IPL campaign.

Bairstow can rack up a bucket load of points through his batting alone while his wicketkeeping dismissals will come as a bonus.

    CAPTAIN – David Warner
