  • David Warner is the leading run-scorer in IPL 2019.

The 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) season heads into match 16 with Delhi Capitals taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad on Thursday.

As fans, watching the action is not the only thing to look forward to – IPL fantasy games mean you have the opportunity to get involved as well.

As the IPL’s official partner, Dream11 runs a daily contest for each game apart from the default format which is conducted per round.

Here, we focus on helping you navigate your way through the former.

    BATSMAN

David Warner – SRH (11 credits)

There are some good batting options in this game and you could easily fill up all five slots but David Warner has to be the first pick. The Australian has been batting like a man possessed, amassing 254 runs in three matches with a strike-rate of over 175. He already has two fifties and a ton to his name this season and has hardly played a loose shot. He’s in the best form of his T20 career.

    BOWLER

Sandeep Lamichhane – DC (8.5 cr)

Why the Nepalese spinner was left out of the first two games is baffling. Having featured in the last two, Sandeep Lamichhane has shown his class with an impressive start to the season. His figures of 2-27 last time out against Kings XI Punjab were particularly impressive.

    ALL-ROUNDER

Mohammad Nabi – SRH (8.5 cr)

The win over RCB was Mohammad Nabi’s first match this season and he definitely made an impression. Though he didn’t get a chance with the bat, he absolutely dismantled the opposition with the ball, taking four wickets for 11 runs, dismissing both openers and even sending AB de Villiers on his way. He also managed to run out Moeen Ali.

    WICKETKEEPER

Jonny Bairstow – SRH (9 cr)

Jonny Bairstow did the unthinkable in Sunrisers’ comprehensive victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday – he scored at a rate quicker than his opening partner Warner on his way to 114 off 56 balls. He took the lead in their opening stand of 185 and has been a consistent performer this season. On the flip side, he only has one dismissal behind the wickets so far.
