  • Pant was sensational against Mumbai Indians.

The 2019 Indian Premier League season heads into match 30 with Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Delhi Capitals in the second game of Sunday’s double-header.

As fans, watching the action is not the only thing to look forward to – IPL fantasy games mean you have the opportunity to get involved as well.

As the IPL’s official partner, Dream11 runs a daily contest for each game apart from the default format which is conducted per round.

Here, we focus on helping you navigate your way through the former.

    BATSMAN

David Warner – Sunrisers Hyderabad (11 credits)

The Australia opener started the season on fire with two half-centuries and a sensational hundred in his first three appearances but then went off the boil in the subsequent two clashes.

However, Warner has regained form just in the nick of time for the clash against Delhi with a hard-fought 62-ball 72 against KXIP at Mohali.

He is still averaging nearly 88 in the ongoing edition with a strike-rate just under 147 and continues to top the run-scoring charts with 349 of them so far to his tally.

With Sunrisers desperately needing a big performance on Sunday, Warner will be extra motivated and the southpaw relishes performing under pressure.

    BOWLER

Kagiso Rabada – Delhi Capitals (9 credits)

While spinners have been expected to thrive once again in the IPL, it is a pacer who has been the pick of all bowlers so far. Delhi’s Kagiso Rabada missed the entire 2018 edition due to an injury and he has arrived in the ongoing campaign with a point to prove.

The South Africa fast-bowler has been nothing short of exceptional so far with 13 dismissals in seven appearances which have come at a strike-rate of just over 12.

The ‘Purple Cap’ holder has picked up six wickets in his most recent two appearances and he will be the biggest threat to Sunrisers’ formidable batting unit on Sunday.

    ALL-ROUNDER

Mohammad Nabi – Sunrisers Hyderabad (8.5 credits)

There are not many straightforward options for the all-rounder’s role but it is Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi who seems the most suited to perform on Sunday.

The Afghan veteran has been excellent for Hyderabad over the course of the campaign despite an expensive display in the most recent loss to KXIP.

With seven wickets in four matches at an economy-rate of just 5.49, there are not many bowling options better than Nabi in the IPL currently.

Although he is averaging just 20 with the bat, Nabi is no mug when it comes to delivering the big hits and he could make a sizable contribution in that department as well if given an opportunity.

    WICKETKEEPER

Rishabh Pant – Delhi Capitals (10 credits)

Both sides have excellent options available to them in the wicketkeeping department but it is Delhi’s Rishabh Pant who slightly edged Hyderabad’s Jonny Bairstow.

With Kane Williamson set to return to Sunrisers’ playing XI, there is every chance Bairstow could be dropped given he has gone off the boil after an electric start.

Pant, meanwhile, might not have reached the heights that he hit last season for Delhi yet but the youngster has been growing in confidence with each passing game.

His 21-ball 45 was crucial to Delhi beating Kolkata at the Eden Gardens and the left-hander is now averaging 37 with the bat in the 2019 edition while maintaining a strike-rate of over 166.

Expect fireworks from his bat if he gets going at the Rajiv Gandhi International stadium.
