It’s one performance that Rishabh Mathur will not want to forget anytime soon, taking three wickets in his only over as DPS Sharjah comfortably beat PAK Hawks Sharjah by 60 runs on Saturday.

In their Under-13 encounter at Sharjah’s Skyline University, Aryansh Sharma (30) top-scored with valuable contributions also coming from Aditya Manglani (15) and Zah-an Zahir (11) as DPS Sharjah posted 110-3 in their allotted 15 overs.

PAK Hawks Sharjah never really got going with the bat. Rushabh Bhatt had already got himself three wickets, removing the top-order batsmen but there was moment of magic from Mathur in the 10th over.

Tail-enders Fuarqan Hafeez, Suleman Yanus and Z Abbas all fell for ducks in the space of just six balls, which proved to be the last over of the game.

Meanwhile, Shoun Roger could not complete his half-century but he did contribute with the ball as Our Own Zenith ran out winners over Brilliant Team by 47 runs.

The opening batsman struck a fluent 48 not out from 39 deliveries, including six boundaries to help Our Own Zenith end their innings at 110-2.

He put that minor disappointment behind him taking one scalp and was one of six wicket-takers as the Brilliant Team struggled to find partnerships.

NIMS Rising Stars overcame the threat of Arnav Kambli to register a six-wicket win against Ryanites.

With a target of 58, Kambli removed their top three batsmen but Nabeel Mohammad (12) and Aqib Shahab (15) hit crucial runs and along with 20 extras, it was enough to seal victory in the 10th over.
