Shoaib Malik put on a show for the Pakistan Super League fans in Dubai with an exhilarating innings during the clash between Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings on Friday.
A target of 187 was set by Karachi for the league’s youngest franchise and their skipper turned it into a pulsating chase with some clean hitting that saw him register seven boundaries in eight balls.
He started by hitting Sohail Khan for a four and a six before picking up a single to maintain strike at the end of the 13th over.

Ravi Bopara was the unassuming bowler of the 14th over when the Pakistani batsman really cut loose.
Malik dispatched the first four deliveries to the advertising boards before launching the fifth into the stands. Bopara’s expensive over ended with a double, eventually yielding 24 runs.
That surge saw Malik bring up his fifty in just 24 balls but he was eventually dismissed by Usman Khan for 52.
