  • Happy bunch: Interface Transworld players pose after winning their match

Hiten Dalal’s unbeaten century and Nitish Rana’s five-wicket haul led Interface Transworld to a 68-run win over Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) in the Onashi Trading Pan Global Development Ramadan Twenty20 Cup.

Dalal blasted 11 sixes and eight boundaries for a top score of 122 for as the team raised 220-3.

In reply, ADCB started brightly with openers Tariq Afridi (24) and Nadeem Rahim (37) putting on 54 for the first wicket.

But double strikes from Salman Baber and Ramveer Rai, and a wicket from Rana left them reeling at 72-5.

Rana then grabbed a further four wickets from which the opponents never recovered as they were all out for 152 in 19.3 overs.

Elsewhere, Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD) were given a dose of Phoenix Medicine as they lost their Group D match.

Adil Mirza and Shoaib Laghari hit half centuries as Phoenix posted 180-5, while HAAD could only muster 139-6.

It was the second win in three games for Phoenix in Group D, and keeps their hopes of reaching the knockout stage alive.

Elsewhere in Dubai, hosts Dulsco scripted a 76-run win over Emrill Cricket Club to storm into the quarter-finals of the 13th Dulsco Ramadan tournament.

After scoring 144, Dulsco bowled and fielded effectively to bundle out Emrill for 68 in 16 overs for their second successive win.
