Multiplex International’s tailenders Imran Haider and Qader Ahmed held their nerve to script a thrilling one-wicket victory against Global Distribution.
After being reduced to 95-9 in their Dulsco Ramadan encounter at Zabeel Park Ground, and chasing 103, Haider (8) and Ahmed (3) thwarted the bowlers to guide the team home with 21 balls to spare.

It was a tough victory for Multiplex who found themselves at 53-5. But Irfan Zakar (12), Mohammad Shafik (14) and Zishan Khan (13) piled on the runs before Haider and Ahmed sealed the victory.
Earlier, Global Distribution struggled with the bat and were 45-6 at one point. Tariq Ahmed (18) and Shafakat Ali (13) put on some runs but their team were all out for 102 in the 17th over.
Meanwhile, Omair Shaukat, Salman Farooq and Rohit Singh took two wickets each as Emirati Warriors beat One Stop Tourism by five wickets in the Interface Transworld Ramadan tournament.
At Dubai’s Men’s College, the Warriors restricted One Stop Tourism to 122 with Shoaib Laghari making 27. In reply, Warriors overcame the early dismissal of Mohammed Iqbal with Baber Malik and captain Qais Farooq each scoring 21.
The pair soon departed, but Ibrahim Malik smashed an unbeaten 43 from 19 deliveries and helped Warriors win with two balls to spare.
In Ace-Pan Global Group Ramadan Cup, New Medical Centre were beaten twice in two days.
Hafeez Rehman took three wickets as NMC were all out for 121 in their chase of 157 posted by Al Fara’a at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.
