  • Anybody remember this incident? This fixture saw the only goal in Premier League history deflected in off a beach ball when Darren Bent scored in a 1-0 win back in October 2009.

    Saturday January 10 – 16:45 (GST)

    Sunderland v Liverpool

    Seven of the last 11 goals Liverpool have scored against the Black Cats were netted by Luis Suarez (and two by Daniel Sturridge).

    • Sunderland have scored a higher proportion of their goals in the final 15 minutes of Barclays Premier League games than any other side (33%).
    • Liverpool have lost just one of their last eight Premier League fixtures (W4 D3 L1).
    • The Black Cats have won just one of their last 10 Premier League games against Liverpool (W1 D4 L5).
    • Sunderland have also won just one of their last 10 league matches (W1 D6 L3).
    • Sunderland have picked up more yellow cards (52) than any other team in the top flight.
    • This fixture saw the only goal in Premier League history deflected in off a beach ball when Darren Bent scored in a 1-0 win back in October 2009.

    Saturday January 10 – 19:00 (GST) 

    Burnley v Queens Park Rangers

    Rangers have allowed their opponents more shots on target against them than any other team in the top flight (111).

    • Burnley have conceded more headed goals than any other team in the Premier League (11).
    • QPR have equalled an unwanted Premier League record of nine consecutive away defeats from the start of a season matching Bolton of 1995-96.
    • Burnley have managed just six headers on target this season, fewer than any other team in the top flight.
    • There have been just seven goals scored in the last five Premier League games at Turf Moor.
    • The Clarets have scored a joint-league low seven goals at home this season (along with Aston Villa).
    • QPR have scored a joint-league low four goals away from home this season (along with Aston Villa).
    • Burnley were unbeaten in their last nine matches against QPR in all competitions (W5 D4) before losing at Loftus road back in early December.

    Chelsea v Newcastle United

    John Terry has scored in three of his last four Premier League appearances.

    • Newcastle United have scored the highest proportion of second half goals in the Barclays Premier League (76%).
    • The Blues conceded as many goals in their last Premier League game (five) as they had in the 10 previous matches.
    • Cesc Fabregas now has more PL assists this season (14) than any player managed last term (Steven Gerrard 13).
    • Eden Hazard has scored four and assisted three in his last seven league games.
    • The Magpies scored two goals from just three shots on target in their 2-1 win over the Blues at St James Park in early December when they became the first side to beat Chelsea this season.
    • Chelsea have scored with 18% of their shots and hit the target with 50%; both are league high figures.
    • Newcastle have scored more goals from substitutes than any other team in the top flight (8).

    Everton v Manchester City

    Roberto Martinez has faced Manchester City 11 times in the Premier League as a manager, and never been on the winning side (D1 L10).

    • Everton have recovered fewer points than any other team from losing positions in the Barclays Premier League (2).
    • Manchester City are unbeaten in their last 11 Premier League matches (W9 D2 L0).
    • The Toffees have lost six of their last eight Premier League matches (W1 D1 L6).
    • Roberto Martinez’s side have failed to score in four of their last six league games.
    • David Silva has scored five goals in his last six Premier League games.
    • Everton have conceded 33 goals already this season after only letting in 39 in the whole of 2013-14.
    • Everton have committed fewer fouls than any other Premier League side (193) but have been fouled more often than any other team (260).

    Leicester City v Aston Villa

    The Villans have picked up red cards in three of their last five Premier League matches.

    • Leicester City have lost 11 and won just one of their last 15 Premier League matches.
    • Aston Villa have scored 82% of their goals in the first half, the highest proportion of any team in the Barclays Premier League.
    • Paul Lambert’s side have also conceded the highest proportion of goals in the second half of top flight games this season (64%).
    • There have been just 12 goals scored in the last 10 Premier League games involving Aston Villa.
    • Aston Villa have suffered a defeat in just one of their last eight league games against the Foxes (W4 D3 L1).
    • Only two teams have scored fewer goals after 20 games of a Premier League season than Villa’s 11 this term (Manchester City and Derby, both 10, in 1995/96 and 2007/08 respectively).
    • Aston Villa have managed to score more than once in just two of their 20 Premier League games this season, but one of those was in the reverse fixture against the Foxes.

    Swansea City v West Ham United

    Diafra Sakho has scored in seven of his 11 Premier League starts.

    • West Ham United have scored more headed goals than any other team in the top flight (14).
    • Wayne Routledge received Swansea’s fifth red of the season in their last game, the most shown to a team in the division.
    • Sam Allardyce’s side have kept just one clean sheet in their last seven Premier League matches.
    • Ashley Williams has made a league-high 233 defensive clearances in the Premier League this season.
    • West Ham have had 13 different goalscorers in the Premier League, the joint most of any team along with Chelsea.
    • In Swansea’s last 34 Premier League games at Liberty Stadium they have only won back to games three times.
    • This is Swansea’s best haul of points in their four Premier League seasons after 20 matches (29 points).
    • This is West Ham’s best record after 20 Premier League matches (32 points level with 1998-99 but with a better goal difference +7 to +1).

    West Bromwich Albion v Hull City

    Allan McGregor has saved all three PL penalties he has faced including one in the reverse fixture.

    • West Brom have won just one of their last 10 Premier League matches (W1 D2 L7).
    • Hull City have failed to score in eight of their last 12 Barclays Premier League matches.
    • Hull and West Brom have met 47 times in the league with both sides winning 16 games.
    • Hull are unbeaten in their last six league games against the Baggies (W3 D3).
    • The Tigers have cleared seven shots off the line in the Premier League this season, more than any other side.
    • Tony Pulis has had the better of his head to head meetings with Steve Bruce as a Premier League coach with four wins and just two defeats in eight meetings.
    • West Brom have won only four of their last 24 Premier League matches at the Hawthorns (W4 D11 L9).

    Saturday January 10 – 21:30 (GST) 

    Crystal Palace v Tottenham Hotspur

    Harry Kane has the best minutes/goal ratio of any player to score at least five PL goals for Tottenham (149, Klinsmann 169).

    • Crystal Palace have gone eight Premier League games without a win (W0 D5 L3).
    • Tottenham Hotspur have recovered more points from losing positions than any other team in the Barclays Premier League (12).
    • The Eagles have failed to score in five of their last seven Premier League matches.
    • Harry Kane has scored five goals in his last five Premier League matches.
    • Palace have failed to score in their last three Premier League games against Spurs.
    • Spurs have won six and lost just one of their last nine Premier League matches.
    • Crystal Palace have committed more fouls than any other team in the Premier League this season (270).
    • Spurs have conceded more penalties than any other club in the top flight (5).

    Sunday January 11 – 17:30 (GST)

    Arsenal v Stoke City

    Peter Crouch has scored eight Premier League goals against Arsenal; his joint-highest tally against any opponent (along with Blackburn).

    • Arsenal have lost just one of their last 27 Barclays Premier League games at the Emirates (W18 D8 L1).
    • 33 points after 20 games is Arsenal's lowest points tally in the league since 1994-95 when they finished 12th.
    • Arsenal have fielded 12 different starting back four combinations in the Premier League this season.
    • Mark Hughes has never won a Premier League game away at Arsenal as an opposition coach, losing all seven visits (with five different clubs).
    • The Gunners have won their last 12 home games in a row against Stoke City.
    • Arsenal have gone six games without a clean sheet in the Premier League.
    • No team has conceded more goals from set-pieces in the Barclays Premier League this season than Stoke (11, includes penalties).
    • The Potters scored three goals from just four shots on target when they beat the Gunners 3-2 in early December.

     Sunday January 11 – 20:00 (GST)

    Manchester United v Southampton

    James Ward-Prowse has assisted three goals in his last three league appearances.

    • Robin van Persie has scored seven goals in seven Premier League appearances against Southampton.
    • Southampton have dropped fewer points than any other team from winning positions in the Barclays Premier League (2).
    • The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last 10 Premier League matches (W7 D3 L0)
    • Manchester United have kept only four clean sheets in their last 12 Premier League games but no team has scored against them more than once in that run.
    • Louis van Gaal’s side have won eight and lost none of their last nine Premier League games at Old Trafford.
    • United have won six and lost none of their last eight Premier League matches against Southampton
    • Man Utd have won 16 and drawn three of their last 19 home league games since Saints last won at Old Trafford (2-0) in January 1988.
