Daman defeat Nuclear Energy to climb to third in ADFL

  • Daman are up to third in Group B of the ADFL after an impressive 5-2 win over Nuclear Energy in round seven of the Abu Dhabi Football League.

    Khaled Mohamed (3), Salem Mohamed and Majed Al Mamodmon got the goals that decided the result which now leaves Energy down to ninth.

    Elsewhere, Yalla Eat Healthy served up a feast of goals as they romped to a 7-0 demolition of hosts ZSC, who continue to remain winless. Hassan Mokdad (3), Erich Sutterlin (3) and Jad Daher hit the back of the net for Yalla.

    Leaders Emirates ID won their sixth game on the trot with a hard-fought 4-2 victory over Al Noor Hospital, while Dr Frias and Al Garbiya City shared a 2-2 draw.

    Meanwhile, an incredible 43 goals were scored in Group A in what proved to be a highly eventful evening.

    ADIB 1 recorded a resounding 9-2 win over Yahsat thanks to goals from Hassin Khory (4), Mohaned Haboush (4) and Waleed Mansoury with Rashed Al Megbali and Yousif Al Braiki grabbing consolations.

    Higher Education continued their fantastic start to the season as they powered to an 11-3 victory over ADNOC Distribution. Mukhtar Yasin (4), Ibrahim Shaquor (3), Saed Al Moamen (2), Omar Khalid and Murad hit the back of the net for the group leaders with Ahmed Abdullatif (2) and Mohamed Esayed hitting back for ADNOC Distribution.

    External Police scored a 6-2 win over Esnad. Ibrahim and Abdelyousef Edris were among the scorers while Falah Salman replied.

    Al Foad Club beat Money Makers 4-3 with Sabri Abdulwahab (3) and Moataz Mashal on target for the victors.
