  • The UEFA Champions League group stages continued on Wednesday night and it was yet another evening of football to remember.

Sport360° has provided a round-up of all the big talking points from each game complete with all the goals and key highlights.

    Incredible Ibrahimovic

Is there anything Zlatan Ibrahimovic can't do? The Swedish striker helped himself to one of the finest hat-tricks you're ever going to see and added a fourth for good measure as Paris St Germain made light work of Anderlecht.

The French champions marched out 5-0 winners in their Group C clash in Belgium as Edinson Cavani also got himself on the scoresheet. If you only watch one Champions League highlights reel today, make sure it's this one.

    Ronaldo tames Juventus

Arguably the match-up of the evening saw Juventus pit their wits against the mighty Real Madrid at the Bernabeu and key to the Italian champions hopes was to restrict Cristiano Ronaldo. No luck there as the Portuguese superstar continued his fine start to the Champions League with two goals as Los Blancos secured a 2-1 victory.

He produced his first in the opening stages before Fernando Llorente levelled for Juve. Ronaldo restored Real's lead from the penalty spot during what was a pulsating clash. However, a harsh red card handed to Juve defender Giorgio Cheillini killed the tempo of the tie.

    Bayern brush aside Plzen

Bayern Munich matched up to the pre-match expectations by swatting aside Austrian side Viktoria Plzen. The reigning champions were completely untroubled as goals from Franck Ribery (2), David Alaba, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Mario Goetze ensured the rout.

The big talking point though involved Arjen Robben after the Dutch winger refused manager Pep Guardiola's orders to take a penalty, which was ultimately taken and converted by Ribery.

    Aguero at the double

Manchester City negotiated a potentially tricky trip to a freezing CSKA Moscow thanks to a brace from on-fire striker Sergio Aguero. City fell behind to a Zoran Tosic strike but Aguero grabbed a first-half brace to hand the Premier League giants a lead.

An almost unplayable icey pitch limited the amount of top quality football but there was still plenty of action on display. None less than in the last move of the day as goalkeeper Joe Hart pulled off a last-ditch save to deny Kasuke Honda a last-second equaliser.

Drogba leads Galatasaray to easy win

Galatasaray kept up their hopes for a place in the knockout stages after goals from Didier Drogba, Emmanuel Eboue and Wesley Sneijder saw the Turkish champions dispatch FC Copenhagen 3-1 in their Group C clash.

Copenhagen managed to pull one back in the final stages of the contest through Claudemir but it proved nothing more than a consolation.

United strike early to down Sociedad

Manchester United took the quickest lead in this year's Champions League to ensure a narrow victory over Real Sociedad at Old Trafford. A first minute own goal from defender Inigo Martinez proved to be the only goal of a game United dominated and should have won by more.

There was some debate over whether the goal should've stood with striker Javier Hernandez loitering in an offside position. Watch it here and make your own conclusion.

    Leverkusen smash Shakhtar

In what was arguably the performance of the night, Bayer Leverkusen dominated Shakhtar Donetsk to run out 4-0 winners in their Group A clash. Two from striker Stefan Kiessling, a penalty from Sam Rolfes, and one from winger Sydney Sam made it a night to remeber for fans inside the BayArena. It was also good to see a Kiessling header that ACTUALLY went in this time!

Cardozo strikes to salvage Benifca draw

Portugese striker Oscar Cardozo bundled in a late equaliser for Benfica as the Portugese side were held by Greek opponents Olympiakos. Alejandro Dominguez gave the visitors a shock half-time lead but Cardozo ensured Benfica left the contest with a point thanks to his goal seven minutes from time.
