  • Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave Real Madrid amid allegations he defrauded the Spanish authorities of nearly  €15million in tax, according to reports in Spain.

Marca’s  front page cited a report from Portuguese daily A Bola in which they say the 31-year-old attacker has “personally communicated” to Real president Florentino Perez and director general Jose Angel Sanchez that he wishes to leave Spain with his decision “irreversible”.

However, Real are desperate to “calm him down” to ensure the four-time Ballon d’Or winner remains at the Bernabeu but the report added Los Blancos “will not hold anyone against their will.”

A Bola also claimed recently that the Portuguese icon would be the subject of a €180million bid this summer with Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and former club Manchester United all thought to be interested.
