    ANDREA BELOTTI

Chelsea are set to switch their attention to Torino striker Andrea Belotti with the Premier League champions missing out on Manchester United-bound Romelu Lukaku.

The Mirror are reporting the Blues will have to pay around £90million to sign the 23-year-old who plundered 32 times for the Serie A side and Italy.

    RATING: 6/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

Seems a little like putting two and two together considering United were initially thought to be targeting the Italy international but he is a player suited to Antonio Conte’s system.

The sticking point will be the fee as Torino are under no pressure to sell and while Belotti was impressive last season, the £90million fee suggested is a excessive, even in this bloated market.

    ERIC DIER

Manchester United will continue their summer shopping spree by targeting Tottenham midfielder Eric Dier, according to the Telegraph.

Chelsea have apparently ruled out a switch to Old Trafford for Nemanja Matic and it’s forced United to look elsewhere with a £50million bid thought to be readied.

    RATING: 5/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

Having hijacked Chelsea’s move for Romelu Lukaku it’s no surprise to see them pull the plug on Matic’s move but it’s unlikely United will be able to snare Dier from Spurs.

The 23-year-old is a key to Mauricio Pochettino’s side and they have no desire to sell which will only strengthen the notoriously tough negotiator Spurs chairman Daniel Levy’s bargaining position to drive an extortionate price.

Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Weigl is alternative which perhaps is the most likely option for United.

    DANI CEBALLOS

Dani Ceballos has indicated that he is open to the idea of joining Real Madrid this summer.

According to AS the Real Betis midfielder wants a move to the Bernabeu but Barcelona are also said to be interested in signing the Spain U21 star.

    RATING: 8/10

    SPORT360 VERDICT

The story seems to have gathered some momentum in the last 24 hours with some media outlets in Spain reporting the deal will be confirmed tomorrow.

Real will pay €18million to ensure the smooth transfer – some €3million more than his release clause.
