  • Ryan Sessegnon delivered another eye-catching performance.
Much coveted teenager Ryan Sessegnon’s second-half double helped in-form Fulham come from behind to beat struggling 10-man Barnsley 3-1 in their Championship clash on Saturday.
The left-back has generated plenty of interest from several Premier League clubs this season including Manchester United.
The 17-year-old winger – who starred in England’s Under-19 side’s European Championship triumph last year being named in the team of the tournament – scored shortly after half-time and in time added on to help his side to their fourth successive league win.
Victory saw them climb into the play-off spots in sixth place, five points off second-placed Derby County, who have a game in hand.

For Barnsley it rounded off a depressing week, former owner Patrick Cryne dying aged 66 a month after he sold the club to a consortium involving Chinese billionaire Chien Lee.
However, there appears little to stop Wolverhampton Wanderers from going back into the Premier League after a hiatus of six years as they beat Ipswich Town 1-0 away to end a run of four games without a win in all competitions.
A Matt Doherty header on the quarter hour mark was sufficient to take the points and give Wolves — who spent the week in Marbella as manager Nuno Espirito Santo thought it would do them good — a 12 point advantage on Derby.
The Wolves boss said that he didn’t take any notice of their whopping lead.
“I don’t look at the league table, I look game by game. It was important for us but the next game is in our minds now,” said the 44-year-old Portuguese.
“We have to realise where we are and be happy about that but at the same time have this sense that we still have a long way to go.”

Bristol City’s exploits in the League Cup – they went out in the semi-finals beaten by Manchester City last Tuesday – didn’t appear to affect them as they shrugged off being a man down from the 32nd minute to beat Queens Park Rangers 2-0.
Famara Diedhiou – in his first start since October – netting shortly before the break and Joe Bryan midway through the second-half secured their first league win in five games and moved up to fourth spot.
QPR’s veteran manager Ian Holloway was left seething and didn’t mince his words.
“It was probably my worst result ever. That was not my team out there today,” said the 54-year-old.
“We will never have a better chance of beating Bristol City considering the effort they put in against Manchester City in midweek.
“Our performance was unacceptable and we will have a big meeting on Monday because I can’t put up with that.”
