The Spaniard was in devastating form at the weekend, notching two goals in Getafe’s 3-0 victory over Levante. Sitting 13th in La Liga, Getafe gave their fans something to cheer about as they recorded their second win of the season with Alvaro at the centre of their exploits.
LUIS SUAREZ (Barcelona) – 8.27
After his double against Las Palmas yesterday, Luis Suárez has now hit six braces for Barça: http://t.co/8BJZGQuOMs pic.twitter.com/k8CdUR3qAb

Lionel Messi’s injury may have overshadowed Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Les Palmas, but it was their Uruguayan sharpshooter Suarez who stole the show with a stunning brace. He might have had a hat-trick but declined to take a second-half penalty, which Neymar subsequently blazed over the bar.
KEVIN GAMEIRO (Sevilla) – 7.85
Muy bueno partido ayer! Es muy importante empezar con una victoria en un grupo dificil! pic.twitter.com/rochrmX631
— Kevin Gameiro (@kevingameiro9) September 16, 2015
It proved to be a frenetic finish at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, with Sevilla netting the winner four minutes from time to register their first victory of the season. Midfielder Gameiro was their star performer, opening the scoring and playing a hand in Yevhen Konoplyanka 86th minute strike to ensure the hosts walked away with all three points.
SERGI ROBERTO (Barcelona) – 7.83
In the top 5 leagues there are 191 players with 15+ successful tackles. Sergi Roberto has the 5th highest tackle success (93%) among them.
— BARÇA NÚMEROS (@barcanumbers) September 26, 2015
A stand-out performer in Barcelona’s win over Las Palmas, Sergio commanded the right flank excellently. With Messi out of action for six-eight weeks, players like Roberto, Neymar and Pique need to step up to ensure Barca continue their promising start to La Liga.
CARLOS KAMENI (Malaga) – 7.54
Carlos Kameni: MotM vs Real Madrid, Rating 9.17, Saves 8, Cross Claims 4, Touches 72 @MalagaCF_en pic.twitter.com/0vqIVhMiUc

Real Madrid were left frustrated by yet another man-of-the-match display from Malaga keeper Kameni as his string of superb saves earned the Sky Blues a point at the Bernabeu. Los Blancos were continuously denied by Cameroonian international Kameni as he forced saves from Isco and Ronaldo. The pick of his interventions was when he prevented Luca Modric from scoring after a quick one-two with Karim Benzema.
