  • On his way to the Nou Camp? Ceballos.

Barcelona are looking to seal a switch for Real Betis’s Spanish under-21 midfielder Dani Ceballos in the coming days.

The 20-year-old was a star performer for Spain in last month’s European Under-21 Championships and is due for talks at the Benito Villamarin club about his future, though it’s unlikely the Green and Whites will be able to convince their young star to stay.

While Barca are the favourites to land Ceballos, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have also shown an interest in the man who was named Most Valuable Player at June’s tournament in Poland.

According to Sport, Ceballos is Barca’s third top summer target behind PSG man Marco Verratti and Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin.

The Spanish star’s price tag shouldn’t be an issue for Blaugrana nor should his release clause fee of €15 million if they do decide to push ahead with the deal.
