Rumours continue to swirl around Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar’s future – but the man himself insists he has had no contact over a potential move to Barcelona.

Skriniar was simply outstanding in his first season with Inter, forming a fine partnership with Brazil centre-back Miranda to help guide the Nerazzurri back into the Champions League.

Barca appear to be on the hunt for a new defender this summer – they have been strongly linked with Sevilla’s Clement Lenglet, as depth is thin behind Samuel Umtiti and Gerard Pique.

However Skriniar, who turned 23 in February, insists his head has not been turned by the Blaugrana so far.

“I am happy in Milan with Inter, nothing else matters,” the Slovakian told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “I don’t know what’s going on in the market and I won’t talk about it either.

”I don’t know whether Barcelona or other clubs want me. I am serious, none of it interests me.

”I only have Inter in my head.”
