Lionel Messi has been rested by Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde for the visit of Athletic Bilbao on Saturday (kick-off 18:15 UAE time).
French defender Clement Lenglet also starts for the injured Samuel Umtiti, while Luis Suarez comes back into the starting XI after missing out in midweek.
The Blaugrana lost 2-1 to then bottom side Leganes on Wednesday, the second time in two games that Barca had dropped points.
Bilbao have not won at the Camp Nou in 14 years and have been outscored by Barca 40-6 in that time period.
