    Spanish striker Paco Alcacer has revealed his unhappiness with his playing time in Barcelona prior to making the switch to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund on loan.

    The forward scored a total of 15 goals in 50 appearances for Barcelona over the course of two seasons before making the temporary move to Germany this summer

    The Brazilian called in to watch his former team-mates at training on Wednesday.

    The 30-year-old, who plays for Guangzhou Evergrande in China, is still technically a Barcelona player, although it is expected that the Chinese club will buy him outright soon.

    Barcelona’s famous Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper training campus is quiet over the international break, with most of Ernesto Valverde’s star-studded squad away with their respective countries.

    But the likes of Spain outcast Jordi Alba and Sergi Roberto, who is making his way back from injury, were among the group on Tuesday, while B team players were also given a chance to impress.

    Meanwhile, Lionel Messi is getting a well deserved rest.
