  • Arturo Vidal.

Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal has been in the news recently after expressing his unhappiness at his lack of game time with Barcelona.

The midfielder has found limited time on the pitch since signing for the Catalan club in the summer.

The former Juventus and Bayern Munich man’s recent social media posts had generated plenty of controversy too with the midfielder insinuating his unhappiness at the club.

”How am I going to be happy if I don’t play, and me of all people. I am someone that has always fought, that has been in the best teams in the world, that has won everything and who wants to continue winning at Barcelona,” Vidal had told FourFourTwo recently.

Now, the midfielder has seemingly had a change of heart after joining up the Chile squad for the international break.

Vidal has seen limited game time since moving to Barcelona.

“I’m happy and I know that beautiful moments will come which I will enjoy, and do what I know how to do,” Vidal was quoted as saying by MARCA.

Since moving to Barcelona in the summer, Vidal has made a total of six La Liga appearances. Of those six, four have come from the bench.

Vidal will be hoping to see some more game time when Chile take on Peru and Mexico in friendlies over the course of the international break.
