Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is yet to make a definitive decision about whether he will return from injury against Real Betis this Sunday.
Messi, 31, has been sidelined with a fractured radial bone in his right arm after falling awkwardly in the 4-2 victory against Sevilla on October 20. He travelled to Inter Milan for Tuesday’s 1-1 Champions League draw, but was judged not fit enough to feature at the last minute.
SPORT have stated that with the initial three-week recovery period about to end, the Argentina forward will consult with close advisers and medical staff about when he’ll return to action.
Another option being considered is to rest further during the international break and be at optimal condition for November 24’s resumption at Atletico Madrid.
