Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has said it is “strange” that the club have not offered him a fresh deal but insisted he wants to finish his career at the Camp Nou.
The 29-year-old is out of contract in 2020 and talks have not yet begun over new terms despite being promised a new deal over two years ago.
“I have no news,” he said.
“I don’t know what the club think of me and it’s strange because there’s not much more of my contract left.
“My intentions are to finish my career here but we’ll see as I don’t know what their intentions are or when they think it will be convenient to call me.”
