  • French midfielder Adrien Rabiot is almost certain to join Barcelona in the winter transfer window after several sources have confirmed an agreement between the club and player is already reached.

And Paris Saint Germain sporting director Antero Henrique is one of those who is unhappy with how Barcelona dealt this situation and made his opinion vocal.

Rabiot is clearly still wanted by the French giants but the midfielder has refused to extend his contract.

“We are always surprised by clubs that do not respect the rules,” Henrique told Radio Montecarlo.

“Rabiot told me he doesn’t want to continue at PSG, but it’s a disrespectful proposal [from Barcelona] because it’s not possible to reach an agreement for a player like him in 24 hours.

“That’s why it’s clear that they already had an agreement.”

He was also unhappy with the way Rabiot’s mother and agent Veronique Rabiot acted.

“I am very surprised,” he continued.

“She said that we received an offer this summer but we received it on August 29 at eight o’clock in the afternoon, just before the market closed.

“It’s simple, it means that Barcelona reached an agreement with Rabiot before coming to talk with us.

    “Barcelona’s offer was ridiculous.”
