A €100-million deal between Real Madrid and Juventus for Cristiano Ronaldo is just “a matter of few hours”, according to newspaper Record.
The Portugal superstar is expected to sign a four-year contract with the Serie A champions, until 2022.
The 33-year old is being rumoured to draw a €30 million salary at his new club, when he does sign for them.
Apparently, there was a meeting between Los Blancos president Fiorentino Perez and Jorge Mendes after which it was concluded that – Ronaldo has now closed the door on Real Madrid once and for all.
The Portuguese daily also stated that Juve will be incorporating a sponsorship deal with Fiat into Ronaldo’s contract to avoid the strain his salary will have on the club’s finances.
