Following the midweek League Cup fixtures, managers have had a good look at some of the players threatening to force their way into the first team.

Here, we look at some of the affordable talents who could be set for a run in the first team.

But first, a shout out to these tactical geniuses who top our Sport360 fans league going into this week!

MARCUS RASHFORD – MANCHESTER UNITED (6.8M)

Jose Mourinho may have just reached a point where he can no longer keep Marcus Rashford out of the starting XI. The teenager has been United’s best attacking player this season, invariably finding the net every time he’s given an opportunity.

This season, Rashford has had an effort at goal once every 24 minutes and consistently takes on defenders and creates chances. With Anthony Martial unavailable for Saturday’s clash with Leicester City, the 18 year-old could well get his chance to establish himself in the starting line-up.

KELECHI IHEANACHO – MANCHESTER CITY (7.1M)

Sergio Aguero’s three-match suspension has come to an end but that doesn’t necessarily mean Iheanacho’s time on the pitch has as well.

The youngster deputised for the Argentine quite superbly and may well have made a case to partner Aguero on a regular basis. With David Silva still a doubt and Nolito suspended, Pep Guardiola has every reason to stick with the in-form Nigerian.

    ALEX IWOBI – ARSENAL (5.8 M)

The young midfielder has impressed every time he’s been given a run out and after his display against Hull City, Arsene Wenger may well have seen enough to persist with him over the next few, rather kind, fixtures following the London derby.

    VINCENT JANSSEN

Harry Kane is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines and that means Mauricio Pochettino is bound to turn to his summer signing.

The striker bagged 27 goals in the Dutch league last season and certainly has a prolific streak in him. With Tottenham showing signs of returning to form, Janssen may see plenty of goal scoring opportunities come his way.
