    THREE BURNING QUESTIONS

Given the sacking of Ranieri, do you think you’ll will survive relegation?

Before the events of this week I would have absolutely said that we would survive the drop. There are seven or eight teams at risk. Yes, our form is diabolical at present, but I strongly felt that this would turn at some stage. We have hit an enormous bad patch.

Bad patches turn eventually. However, with the sacking of Ranieri and the outpouring of disappointment and anger towards our players, I can only see us declining down towards the championship.

Is it time for a shift away from the Morgan-Huth partnership. Have been chasing shadows at the back at times this season.

Both these players have gone beyond their peak now. I would play Benalouane instead of Huth, make Kasper Schmeichel captain instead of Wes Morgan and replace in the next transfer window.

Was sacking Ranieri the wrong decision? How do you see it playing out?

The main point about Ranieiri being sacked is the rumours around the players having the power to influence that decision. If those players have been underperforming to get ‘rid’ of Ranieri then that is disgusting, unprofessional and cheating on their fans.

Yes, managers get sacked on results. We all know that. But who has been responsible for those results if the rumours on the players revolt is true? It is a sorry state of affairs at our club right now.

It is a no-win situation. We start to play better and the players will get slated. We remain to struggle to pick up points then the sacking was pointless. Many fans are grieving the loss of a great man. Time will tell if it was the right decision.

    THREE BURNING QUESTIONS

Huge win over Spurs last week. The start of a revival?

Well we definitely needed one and that performance was excellent in showing what we are capable of and we should have scored more. This was a fantastic game to come back to life and I do hope we continue the momentum against Leicester, who have been in poor shape recently.

We have had a long break to recover and come back fresh for this fixture so it should be a great game.

Do you think Liverpool are over-reliant on Mane?

Looking back at our performances pre-January I would say no. He is a constant threat and has real quality which he injects into our performances, however to ‘over-rely’ implies that the other players aren’t trusted to do their jobs.

This I disagree with. Recent form has seen us wish him back, however I feel this is down to the squad being overstretched and tired.

One Leicester player you would want in your team and why.

It would probably be Schmeichel. I believe he will grow to be a fantastic goalkeeper with a strong back-line in front of him. At the moment clean sheets are scarce for Leicester but there is no doubt that Schmeichel is a quality goalkeeper with years ahead of him in his career.

    PLAYER TO WATCH

It has to be our boy Mane. It has been brilliant to see him breath life into the team again and this fixture is no exception. Hopefully all the players turn up like we did against Spurs to feed his ability.

    PREDICTION

    Leicester 1-3 Liverpool
