  • In this column, we track the best Arab football talents plying their trade in the Premier League and round-up their accomplishments every week.

And after gameweek 10, we ran the rule over Mohamed Salah, Sofiane Boufal and Riyad Mahrez.

Which of the following three players do you think performed best?

Here’s a look at the three aforementioned stars…

MOHAMED SALAH | LIVERPOOL 3-0 HUDDERSFIELD

Liverpool’s Egyptian talent didn’t have one of his most memorable afternoons on Merseyside, with that being compounded by the fact he missed a first-half penalty.

It was a big surprise the 25-year-old didn’t find the net from 12 yards, given that he had converted a high-pressure spot-kick against Congo to secure Egypt’s World Cup 2018 berth earlier this month.

And while you could see he was very disappointed not to add to his five-goal Premier League haul so far this season, it didn’t matter in the end as a three-goal second-half salvo secured a comfortable victory for Jurgen Klopp’s men.

Salah was taken off late on by the German, with the Liverpool manager looking to keep his star man’s legs fresh ahead of this week’s Champions League tussle with Maribor.

SOFIANE BOUFAL | BRIGHTON 1-1 SOUTHAMPTON

After his wonderful, Diego Maradona-esc solo goal last weekend, the Moroccan had a quieter afternoon as the two south coast rivals ended up with a point apiece on Sunday.

The 24-year-old former Lille man was given license by coach Mauricio Pellegrino to play his expansive game from the left-hand side but he struggled to have the same kind of impact as he has enjoyed in recent weeks.

Indeed, his afternoon at the Amex Stadium ended early when he was replaced by Nathan Redmond after 72 minutes.

RIYAD MAHREZ | LEICESTER 2-0 EVERTON

The Algerian certainly looks to be back to his dazzling best, with new Foxes boss Claude Puel giving his winger license to thrill from either flank.

An in-form Mahrez, in tandem with hotshot Jamie Vardy, certainly make Leicester a force to be reckoned with again as their win over Everton was something of a throwback to their title-winning team and form of two years ago.

Indeed, Mahrez laid the ball on a plate for England striker Vardy to net the opener after 18 minutes following Demarai Gray’s superb run down the right.

Each of the Leicester front three tormented the Toffees, who had no answer to combat their pace and direct running.

Mahrez was taken off with just over 15 minutes to go, and although he didn’t look too happy, he still received a standing ovation.
